You couldn't possibly be more wrong.Pfft, Rock. There's nobody with talent making that kind of music anymore.

There's music for ya. You won't appreciate it because your feeble untrained musical sensibilities will not allow you to, but that is real talent. Not the recording studio magic, smoke-and-mirrors lights and fireworks shows you punks think is music.

I love acoustic guitar, and that was an amazing performance. You don't need to be so elitest about it though. :| Everyone has different music taste.

Agalloch are outstanding.
I'm rockin' out to Iron Maiden lately, because I'm seeing them in concert in five days. If you don't listen to them, go now.

As much as I love Agalloch(The Mantle is amazing :)) I still think Opeth are better. Opeth get kind of boring after a while. *raises flame shield*As much as I love Agalloch(The Mantle is amazing :)) I still think Opeth are better. Some of them like Opeth, but arent too into them. Its hard to be a casual listener of Opeth. I listen to them everyday and love every single one of their songs/albums. I guess, like you said, its not a sound that everyone can get into.[QUOTE="airg6"][QUOTE="Bluestorm-Kalas"] Opeth get kind of boring after a while. *raises flame shield*

Needs moar Amon Amarth.I could never really get into them. lol. I mean, I like them. I guess, I need to get more stuff of theirs. All I have is Twighlight of the thunder god(The whole album). Ive heard some of their earlier stuff too. Its ok. I love Viking metal just as much as the next guy. But, I dont know, they just seem okay to me. I dunno, maybe it's just that I really didn't like the production style on TotTG and the riffs weren't quite as catchy. Not a bad album, just not what I would expect from them.[QUOTE="airg6"]I'm going to suggest all of my favorite bands to you: Animals as leaders,Between The Buried And Me,Behemoth, Cryptopsy(early),Cult of luna,Isis,Cynic,Devin Townsend project,The Dillinger Escape Plan,Dream Theater, Dying Fetus,The Faceless,My Dying Bride,Nevermore, Opeth, The Pax Cecilia,Porcupine Tree,Protest The Hero,Radiohead, Revocation,Riverside, Scale The Summit, Sikth,Strapping Young Lad,Suffocation, Symphony X, Textures,Tool, Wintersun, Children Of Bodom and August Burns Redairg6

this is good really good anyone know a REALLY long song where theres little or no lyrics and ton o guitar stuffawesomerayPorcupine Tree has a lot of long instrumentals. The only good Youtube links I could find are Arriving Somewhere But Not Here (this isn't the full song), and Mother and Child Divided (the live version is so much better).

Ill try and get some stuff of theirs tomorrow. Are you into doom metal at all? I need some more recomendations. Preferablly Death doom. Such as MY Dying Bride or Novembers Doom.[QUOTE="airg6"][QUOTE="Bluestorm-Kalas"] Needs moar Amon Amarth.

I don't even see their appeal unless you're just getting into (or they got you into) melodic death I suppose. Although I guess I don't see the appeal of Ensiferum either for the same reason. :P I'd suggest some good ol' death metal. Bolt Thrower, Bone Gnawer, Skinless, Incantation...Needs moar Amon Amarth.
