I need to make an important decision

My friends and I are a tight group composed of 7 unique,funny, and cool guys. Theres this kid that we know and is in our class. Hes so annoying, not funny, lame , and sticky more than you can imagine. He knows we hate him but he still forces his presence on us .

For example yesterday, we were going for a little drive after school. He came up to the car window and asked where we were going, we said we don't know like 6 times. He then forced himself with us and told us I want to come with you guys when we clearly showed him that we don't want him with us.

So he got into the car and the whole 3 hours we spent driving around one of my friends kept on making fun of him.But no hes okay with being mocked because he has no dignity or self-respect. 0% of self respect. He has no friends but us. We aren't jerks or arrogant people, but this guy really is annoying. We're friends with everyone in our school and we are nice to everyone. After we drove around , we went to our usual hangout and of course he was with us. We had a heated debate on whether we should let him into our "gang" or not. I voted no.

I think yes because he doesnt have any friends and we have to put up with him. We dont want him to look back 10 years from now and see he had no friends and no social life and leave him emotionally scarred. This guy has NO friends , not a single friend other than us. We have to let him hang out with us even if it means having to put up with him.

I think no because he shouldnt force himself on us, he should learn how to make friends and change his annoying ways. I mean come on in class i'd be talking to my friend about something important and he'd just jump into the conversation and start telling me what to do as if im his friend. It gets really annoying sometimes. We're almost in college and in college no one is going to pity him. I think that he should learn how to make friends and stop being a nuisance even if it will cause him a bit of harm now, but save him later.

What do you guys think I should do ? YES OR NO ?

accept him and teach him some self-respect. When I was younger we would accept anyone in our "gang", even if they were dumb or annoying, they would still make the grp richer in experience.Franko_3

There is no reason to alienate people because they have different behavior. It's possible a lot of his behiavors come from the fact he has no friends to begin with. He simply needs an oppurtunity to learn a different way, and you're in a posistion to show him.

It's this simple. He doesn't need to be part of your crew just for you guys to pretend to be his friends. Just someone needs to talk to him and tell him how ya feel. Say ya would like to be his friend etc, but you are all best friends and sometime ya like to do things on your own. Still talk to him hang out with him at school and maybe once a month ask him to hang out so he doesn't feel bad so now you have little to no obligation to him and ya can both go on with your lives and he can feel happy.

I've met so many socially awkward people in school and they were usually tortured mentally by other people which is the opposite of what they need. Just be kind and it will pay off. I had a very similar situation and realised I was being a **** to this one awkward kid and then I told him I was sorry because I realised it later and when ever he hits me up on Facebook or AIM I respond because I know at least I'm making someone else happy.
