Ugh I hate how because I have an ipod I'm considered a conformist who follows the crowd by the people on this forum. Maybe I just like the interface, and the look of the ipod. Just because less people buy the product you have, it makes you an individual?

Lol I know... it was a joke, but think about it... EVERYONE minus a few have an iPod... That's not because they're the best... It's just because they've been in the game for a really long time and people go with the most established company.

ipods are popular, not awesome. there is a difference, ipods are actually mediocre MP3 players at best, they offer the least features, scratch easily and have a crappy screen and a non replaceable battery. Also every time a new ipod comes out, people buy them like children being spoon fed, even though every new ipod barely adds any features that cant be found in other, better MP3 players. Just because its popular, does not mean it is good.

Also, the iPod ear buds suck. They fall out of your ears CONSTANTLY. The Zune ones are way better... They come with a couple of foam covers for comfort, they stay in better, and they're MAGNETIC so they attach to eachother! How awesome is that!? Let's see Apple do that.

Ear buds never stay in my ears...doesn't matter what kind it is. That's why I just use regular headphones. I like my iPod...I as well don't know why some bash them.

Also, you've never given a legitimate reason why the iPod sucks. The only complaint you've cited so far is that everyone's already got one. Which means you're NOT buying an iPod solely as a status symbol, which actually makes you no different than the people you are talking about.

Dude, the 8G has been out for almost a year. I bought mine around August if I remember correctly, maybe it hasn't been a year yet, but its close, hence why I said ABOUT
