I personally love my parents, but I'm not going to call you an "angsty teen" like some of the users on this forum, since guess what, I don't really know anything about your parents. Not liking your mom over her voice is pretty trivial though. As for your dad, well he could be a douchebag, idk. I really don't know, all I can say is I hope that your parents aren't really that bad and that you're overreacting.

the thing is, they tried to raise me the best they could and they really didn't do anything terrible to make me hate them as much as I do, but I do. as people, as human that being you get to know and interact with..I really can't stand them. my mother's voice is like razorblades. whenever I listen to her talk I want to bang my head against the wall. she's annyoing and nags me. my dad likes to strut around with an alpha male attitude but he's not half as strong as he thinks he is. he's just kind of a douchebag, we're nothing alike. I like to avoid these poeple as much as possible and eventually cut them off completely

My Father and I don't always see eye to eye. In fact, we argue if we spend more than five minutes together. I wouldn't say I hate him though.

My mom's cool, despite the fact that she nags me to death.

In my humble opinion, as long as they are putting food in your mouth, giving you shelter, and are making sure that you aren't lacking the essentials, you really have no reason to b!tch.

Weren't you on that show, My Super Sweet 16? Sounds like it, anyway. Our civilization is seriously devolving...

well, i didnt always feel this way about my parents(i was lazy in highschool and B's weren't good enough for my dad) but i love em and i miss them. after basic and ait, you have no clue how much i wanted to go home just to get some biscuits and gravy from my mom and to go to the range with my old man. and now...i live a good 16 hours away from them. i try to keep in touch and i realize everything they did for me and how much of a brat i really was. think of it this way...you have a kid...who's annoying...thinks my chemical romance is the best thing since sliced bread when you already have queen...you pay for everything for them, yet they just want useless stuff that is going to go out of style in a month...you try to get them to do good in school so they can go to a good college and have all the opportunities to have a good job and earn more money in life than you did, hopefully so they will find more happiness. yet all this kid wants is to fight you every step of the way and go out partying and wants to grow up so fast that they dont realize that being a student is the best part in life...they treat you like youre an idiot because they are obviously so learned and wise about the world and how it works...yet...you try to keep you temper in check and you continue to throw your money at them and feed them and try to get them to do their best...

yeah...seems like most people's parents are aweful...honestly you just sound like a whiny brat who didnt get his parents to order him diablo 3 because he's 10...

I love my parents. They do their best for me and my brothers. It hurts me that I'm a failure for them. They deserved a better son than me... :cry:

I love my mom (although she do a lot of things I reallly dislike) , but I hate my dad.....

My parents are divorced. My mom and I are like best friends. I have a terrible relationship with my dad. So, I'm kind of mixed on this.

- White male
- Between the ages of 12-15
- Slacks off and probably doesn't have the best grades in school
- Loves video games
- Lives in a suburb
- Family is probably well off financially
- Goes to a good school
- Probably has a small group of friends
- Under-Achiever

I'll bet anybody here 100$ that this is the TC's description. I can tell by the self-victimizing BS attitude. Don't worry TC, you'll grow out of it.

I think you sound like a teen that hates the world. Bottom line is if it was not for them you wouldn't even be typing on this very forum about how you hate them.

My parents sometimes make wrong choices... but I love them.
