Well, that's good too, I guess. But I don't want to go leaping headfirst out of the giant tree without the proper training, or a giant flying thing to break my fall. The giant glowing mushrooms andluminescent fairy-like fluffy orbs that kind of look like what a dandelion would spew out would be fun to see, though. Are they also including a massive waterfall complete with a rock to leap off of to escape from a giant blue-man-eating monster, as well?

If you didn't finish it the first time there is probably not much that has changed about you in the last couple months that would make you think it's worth watching now. I did just what you did, rented it and walked away from the TV without seeing the whole thing. I would classify it as a bad movie.

We can say that about a lot of movies out there, of using old archtypes that the movie does.. This is just not a fair comparison what so ever, to me it reeks of people who don't even notice that the majority of movies out there are quite predictable with these themes.

But people are still entertained. Every fantasy book, game, film, whatever has borrowed elements from Tolkien. Every Sci-fi horror mystery whatever has borrowed from other authors, too. But people still read, watch and play it.
