I've seen The Incredibles and Finding Nemo by Pixar and I thought they were overrated. Never watched any of their stuff after, maybe I should.

I don't think so. There were many better films this year.

[QUOTE="KHAndAnime"]That movie was boresnore. Not even within top 10 films of the year.hockeyruler12
Please enlighten me as to what 10 films are better...

- Up In The Air

- Inglourious Basterds

- The Hurt Locker

- Avatar

- The Fantastic Mr. Fox

- Star Trek

- District 9

- 500 Days of Summer

- Moon

- Precious

All these films are more entertaining and captivating as a whole. Up is charming and cutesy, but in the end it's all too familiar and get's too boring near the end for film goers who aren't easily impressed by child films.

[QUOTE="sammyjenkis898"]I would love to see it get a nomination, but I don't see the Academy doing so. If they had gotten rid of the animation category (which they should have done), then I could see it getting a nomination. chessmaster1989

Even if it gets a nomination (imo it doesn't deserve one though), it has no chance of winning...

Are Up in the Air and The Hurt Locker the favorites right now?

Yep, in that order.

Actually, Avatar is the favorite.
