you're right....every country is biased against russia.....Russia is obviously not at fault and is doing nothing wrong...pay no attention to the tanks heading further into the country.......there's nothing to see here....all is well.....

Rofl, Russia has proved that they have no tanks heading to cause more war in Georgia, but Georgia still denies it saying they are being attacked. They actually tried to say their OWN tanks were Russian once. The Russians were trying to make the Georgian president tell the truth for a while. Infact, GEORGIA started the war by killing 2000 citizens in SO, nearly 2 times the 911. Here is some news about what Georgia is doing:

I think you got things mixed up. Earlier when the war was going on, Georgia said that Russian tanks were heading towards the Georgian capital. That turned out to be false, those were Georgian tanks. Now that the war has stopped, Russia has sent about 50 armored vehicles towards Tbilisi. This is true and Russia says they are demilitarizing the Georgian region. They stopped at Gori earlier to disarm and burn down a Georgian weapons depot. All of that has been confirmed by Russia.

2 women who are russian refugee's, probably hate the Georgian's, and are safe in the country that was invading Georgia arent going to accuse Georgia of something if they have a microphone stuffed under their nose's?

Yes I know this, Im talking about before were Georgia tried to blame Russia for assaulting other villages that Russia denied attacking.

Ok can you give us independent media verification of these attacks? NOT something that says "Russia claims" or "sources inside russia"

Western media (Not including the biased US) isn't accusing Georgia of attacking Russia first but they are confirming that Georgia attacked South Ossetia first. If you combine the other facts, like the Russian troops stationed there, than you'll come to the same conclusion. They even reported the gigantic amount of civilian casulties caused by Georgia. What more do you need? The only difference is that they aren't accusing anybody.

Umm, the west also get their news FROM sourecs inside Georgia and Russia. So their view is not really independent, but what the person says. And obviously, South Ossetia wasn't interviewed at all by the west.

This is as much a war of information and lies, therefore anything the Russians or Georgian's say cant be trusted. Unless there is independent verification, there is no truth in the russian accusations.

Exactly, but guess wehre the west gets their info from? THE SOURCES INSIDE GEORGIA AND RUSSIA!! Also, it is a FACT that 2000 Russian civillians were killed inS outh Ossetia after Georgia invaded. That is probably enough to have them on trial for war crimes.

Its a lot more complicated than what you think. How about...we sit. Wait. find out what happened. THEN we can make conclusions.

Russia stationed peacekeepers in South Ossetia. When Georgia invaded, 10 of them were killed.

Russian Tansk have been confirmed by Multiple News agences to be rolling fuirther into Georgia...whether they get to the capital or not is besides the point..(which personally I think the will eventually unseat the president but that's neather here nor there)....

NATO will never allow Russia to occupy Georgia. Russia has denied wanting to do that publicly and if they do, they will lose all their status in the world. That is more important to them than Georgia. The tanks are demilitarizaing Georgia, not causing war.

Russia is there for 2 reasons....Oil and to reclaim "lost" territory.....when this all plays out I will post a big PWNT in this thread and be done with it......

OIL? AHAHAHAHHAHA!!! Russia is one of the worlds LARGEST supliers of oil!!! They don't need more..."Lost" territory? You mean the ones they LET GO FREELY after the USSR? South Ossetia wants to be Russian and not Georgian, thats why 90% of their citizens have russian passports and citizenship. They also had their own elected government, seperate from Georgia. i highly doubt taking Georgia is what Russia wants, since they said they halted military action against them.

believe all the RUssian media you boys want to......jsut don;t bne suprised when the Ukraine does some horrible thing next that Russia has to go in and "fix".....

You realize right, that the US is surrounding Russia with military bases and missles? Putting missles and bases in Ukraine is like Russia putting missles in Cuba, Canada and mexico and said they are for "defense". Russia already said that it will point missles at Ukraine and if war starts between them, I don't think Ukraine will survive the aftermath.

Before the war started, the pipeline got disconnected from oil by the company who maintains the pipeline. The media said this barely had an effect on the oil price in the world.

They are the largest suppliers, but that oil pipe line in Georgia had been a thorn in the side of Russia because it means Europe could get another way to get oil. Also Russia didn't let go of it territory freely. They couldn't do anything else, but let the other USSR nations go free.

They also had their own elected government, seperate from Georgia. i highly doubt taking Georgia is what Russia wants, since they said they halted military action against them.Chaos_HL21

They are the largest suppliers, but that oil pipe line in Georgia had been a thorn in the side of Russia because it means Europe could get another way to get oil. Also Russia didn't let go of it territory freely. They couldn't do anything else, but let the other USSR nations go free.

Umm you realize right, that the oil pipeline being deactivated had nearly no effects on the oil prices in the world?

I remember reading that the Russians were against the pipeline being build becasue it meant the West would not need Russia for oil. They could get it from other places. The pipeline is down and oil prices haven't been going up, that leads me to think Russia is making up the different in the lost of oil from the Georgian pipeline .
