You know, when you pull something in the right side of your neck, and you can only bend it to the left or face unbearable pain? Yeah, I got that this morning. Any ideas to make the pain go away? I'm already putting ice on it every now and then...

Naw. I only know the kind where you hurt the left side and can only turn it to the right or face unbearable pain.

i think your suppose 2 not put ice on it b/c that tightens up the musscle, get an icy hot patch that should work. Or maybe go to one of those websites (webmd.com i think it's called) and go look their.

That sucks. Get your neck warm (use a scarf or something), should help to losen up your muscles and relief it.

yeah prob, my friends dad is a physical therapist and he always says not to put ice on it for too long, and it to heat up the muscles to relax it. You just use the ice for a lil bit to num the pain and then the heat to relax the muscles. Get one of those tempurpeic pillows, they feel so good on your neck.

Actually ice is the wrong way. Heat is the way you want to go.

I usually lie down for a while, then just try and force it slowly back into place. Really not the best option, but it requires the least effort.
