I wanna live in America!

OK time for some /threading action.

If you can forget about your life in the UK, ie. friends, jobs, all that, and move to America, go for it. As long as you can get a job in the US, which won't be extremely hard in NYC which is where you would most likely go I assume, and you're confident in this decision, join us in our pursuit of happiness, life, and liberty. Or whatever it is.

Not all Canadians speak French. If you move to Vancouver Island it's full of English speaking Canadians that are absolutely terrific. And I don't blame you for wanting to move from England...the taxes are horrific and will only get worse if Gordon Brown takes over for Tony Blair...Wren28

Yeah, there's a surprisingly large amount of foreigners here on the island.
