So heres the deal O-T, I was in a car accident last night. The odd thing is that I've been in 4 total my entire life, 3 of them have occured in the past two years. Anyways heres what happened: A few bros of mine were on our way home from Buffalo Wild Wings, because every tueday we go there for some wings. Anyways we had a carpool going, full car so we could save gas, we had dropped off two of our friends before hand, so they weren't in the crash. Anyways, my friend was driving, and I was in the passanger seat, we hit some black ice, (because here in Minnesota, we have some terrible roads in the winter), and caused the car to spin out of control. The car hit the edge of the street and flung the car into a barrel roll. the car finally stopped after two flips, but it hit a sign which was odd, and even more odd that I walked away with NO injuries at all, not even a scratch. My friend however got quite a few scratches.

Picture related, its the car we were in:

Only a sign and the car, but we are completely in tact.

We had our belts on, so that caused us to stay in our seats.

That sucks, do you have insurance? It's a good thing you're alright, but your friend didn't drink any alcohol did he?

I figured you had your seat belts on but it still seems like your head would get snapped around a good bit.

I had my hands over my head to sustain the lashes and glass. I went to the doctor earlier and I had no injuries.

Good to hear you made it out in one piece, though shame about your car. Black Ice sounds like a nasty problem, isn't there anything the council could be doing about that?

3 accidents in the last two years plus this one which was due to you losing control of the car? To be completely honest, I think you need to take a driver's ed course.

Edit: It was in the main post if you'd like to fully read it, its a nice little tale. ;)

Or good luck, considering all of the incedents I've never gotten injured at all.

But the fact that I am in them to begin with does trouble me a bit.

I assumed it was his car for some reason. And I know he wasn't driving, I read the post.

Actually my other one was, My car was sanwhiched in.

I've got a pic on my phone, I'll see if I can get it on.

Well my front doesn't seem to be as smashed as yours, but my back end was defenitly worse than the front.

I took it with my old, so the quality was terrible:

Glad to hear you made it out okay. I have been in quite a few in my lifetime too. And just like you I was never the driver. There are only a few people I trust at driving anymore. I rarely go anywhere without being the driver; I can't stand not being in control of the car.

My friend was recently in a car accident that was more unfortunate thatn yours. She broke her jaw and some ribs and had some fractures and sprains. They ahd to use the jaws of life to get her out and her jaw is currently wired shut. All in all, car accidents are bad. Drive safe.

Thankfully you guys were wearing your seat belts, I'm glad no one was hurt. I got into an accident back in October, there was a fresh coat of snow on the ground and as I was going around a corner a dear jumped out and I lost control. Went off the road and dropped about 10 feet into the forest. Me and my buddy in the passenger seat were fine, but my buddy in the back wasn't wearing a seat belt. He flew into the front seat and broke his arm. It scared the hell out of me, seeing how close I was to killing my friend. After an accident though, you've just got to be thankful that it wasn't worse, and vow to be more careful.
