How are the prices and which ebook store is best? I was considering an iphone because I need 1 device that can do everything that a mobile should do. Also are there any other alternatives aside from iphone that i may not be aware of? I would rather not purchase a single ebook reader.... I have too many devices to carry around as it is.

If you're using an iDevice I highly suggest Stanza. It has tonnes of free stuff, and a really large library of nearly everything you'd want. I've read Alice in Wonderland, Sherlock Holmes and I'm halfway through Treasure Island now. I did try to read Tom Sawyer but trying to read phonetically written Southern American gave me a migraine.

I use the Kindle app for my iPod being that I actually own a Kindle. I am able to sync the information together allowing me to carry all of my books with me even when my Kindle is not present.

On my iPhone I have the Kindle, nook and iBooks apps all in a folder. If there's something I'm interested in buying I check all 3 of them for the cheapest price.

How is it reading books on your phone? I've considered downloading a couple but I feel like it might start to hurt my eyes after a while.

I read a couple Halo novels on mine (a guilty pleasure for sure). Never did eye strain become a problem. Anytime I read anything more substantial I do it on my iPad, check between the iBooks, Kindle, and Nook stores before buying anything. Really prefer the iBooks app more, though.

Yeah, it sucks for the most part. In fact...I just looked at my iPhone and the only ereading app I currently have installed is iBooks. I must have taken the rest off. I do have them all on my iPad, though.
