The "wipe off the map" rhetoric is that of a political one.. The Arab Middle East do not see Israel as a legitimate country, and they want Palestine to be recreated.. That being said, its sad that the United States government still supports Israel with out question.. Alot has to do with the evangelical movement in bed with the Zionist lobby in their support.. Its amusing but AIPEC the hawkish zionist lobby is one of the most powerful lobbies in the United States.. They are so powerful infact that a politican can risk their political career by talking out against them.. Furthermore they do not hold any political or economic purpose to the United States.. They do not have any resources we want, they are politically a huge liability that worsens relations within the Middle East.. Not improves them.. They are also looked down upon in the UN, and the United States is the only country in the way of putting taxing sanctions on the country.. Thats right, if it weren't for the United States veto power they would be treated in similar regard like Saddam's regime, the Iranian regime etc etc.. This is why I find the realtionship very confusing.. Now I am not suggesting that I despise Israel, merely its hawkish government by the Likud party,a nd the Israeli major lobbies gorup int he United Sttatss called AIPEC.. If only lobbiest groups like Jewish Voice for Peace, had more finances and political power within the United States over AIPEC..

Iran wouldn't be getting scolded if it were Pro-American.. Historically United States foriegn policy doesn't give two craps about democracy, or the wellbeing of the people within the region.. Yeah, I know a good amount of history of how we screwed over Iran pretty well..We were there for the Oil, Mohammad Mosaddegh felt it was unfair and we were exploiting them, so we decide to overthrow him and put in a puppet dictator..

I can sort of understand the up tightness (being an over cautious ***) of the Israel government as the their race has been persecuted for 2000+ years.

Still the US needs to do the equivalent of an intervention (political, in the give them a talk sort of way) to stop such stupid actions.

.. If you read the article it was going after inhabitents within the West Bank and Gaza Strip.. Yet again by international law, Israel does not have any rights to them.. They can not settle there.. And now they are trying to deport more people.. If you read the article it will say that a judge him/her self said the act was extremely ambigious in language, meaning they can most likely use this for just about any inhabitent.. Furthermore they will not be deporting Jews from the land, its specifically targeted towards people of supposed therat to Israel.. Those do not include th Jewish settlers.
