Ultimate understanding of the video games industry, from what makes a good game to being able to explain every intricacy of every possible game and every platform's purpose in the industry, without any higher education than high school? And if I could possibly acquire something that could use these understandings, how could I get someone's interest in me? And how could I convince them that these understandings are true? Keep in mind, that this knowledge has come from the furthest thing from first glance impressions, and have spent an abundance of time on analyzing everything.
This next bit is just a piece of text to tell I don't just sit on my ass all the time, if interested in anything but the hypotheticals.
I'm 19 years old, almost 20, and Video games have always been a real passion in my life. To break away from the world rat race (appropriately named) that is social hierarchy, sinking into a good game was the escape for me ever since I was 8 years old. And because of this, I haven't made much progress in society. I've kept myself in good shape, had just enough buddies, and try to take care of myself as best I can, but have never really had the motivation to progress in society because of how sick it is until now. I've always known i'd have to, I just haven't been ready until now, now that i'm armed with knowledge of the world, just without experience. And I mean lacking world experience quite a bit, outside of a handful of part time jobs. This thread is kind of grasping at straws for the impossible and might make a good joke, I know, but I still can't help but wonder if there isn't something I can do with this. Surely someone could be convinced of my calibur without some piece of paper vouching for me, right?
About the only thing on the table for me is joining the US Air force, which would force me to get on a roll in the world, and since I have an very high Asvab and can ace the physical tests, I can basically pick any job I want. And since they pay for school and anything else, that would set me up quite nicely. Since i'm always thinking of a better way though, I have to ask. I know some people here are quite experience so I thought, what the hell, it can't hurt to ask.
