Currently I'm not sure, seems I've grown to like my current username and have gotten used to it over the years. I might think of something though. Maybe Goth_Girl700? Or Ghost Girl 800, or mysterious xenomorph. I have this strange liking for xenomorphs. And tarantulas. and scorpions.

I'd get rid of the numbers if I could. A bit late now :P

As far as how hard it is to change usernames it's usually not that big of a deal. However sometimes the tool that holds that data is being weird or, it gets caught up in the support queue.

If you ever wanted to change your username (granted, you'd need a reason better than "umm... because,") you just have to email support. Pro Tip: Include in the subject of the email "Username Change Request" gets sent to a totally different queue.

I have no idea where my current username came from. Somewhere back over a decade ago I caught onto the idea of using '___Fan26' as a username. This one I added on 4, Mariofan26 was taken, I presume and I added a 4 because it was 2004? The reason I don't know where it came from as I've never particularly been a Mario fan. Animal Crossing, Pokemon, and by the time I joined here, The Sims... But Mario? That's pretty random. Of course, I love Mario games, especially Paper Mario 64 and GCN, but Mario has never been a particular favorite series for me altogether. So that's a slight bit random. Probably the only place I ever went by 'Mariofan'
