My uneducated guess..... the age demographic of the users. It appears (although I could be wrong) that we have a lot of people on here that are in their late teens or early twenties. Things like holidays (religious or otherwise) aren't "cool." Probably a better way to phrase that, and again, I could be wrong, but that's my guess.
