Odin

vs

Zeus

Let's say that the Norse Gods rule Earth A and the Greek gods rule Earth B. Earth A and B are next to each other. Inevitably, someone pisses someone else off and now each set of Gods wants to rule both Earths. Note that it's just the Gods doing the fighting here, the Greeks can't bring in the Titans(Moros would make it unfair).

Readysetfight!

Not only would the Greek Gods win, they would have sex with the Norse Gods afterwards. They're hardcore like that (especially Zeus).

I think the Norse ones only because they seem more war-like.

The Greek Gods (or deities in general) were predominantly personifications of cultural, psychological and societal concepts (justice, family, hate, agriculture, love, craftsmanship etc).

Yeah I guess al l mythologies have those personifications but to my )limited) knowledge of the Norse Gods, arent they more aggressive and generally ill-tempered (very crude description).

I mean the Greek gods were usually pretty laid back, despite the wars they may have partaken in.

I actually don't know, I have very limited knowledge of them myself. I'd assume so since warriors went to valhalla, that sort of promoted fighting lol

I guess Mt. Olympus is not what you're looking for. Anyway though, Greek gods are supposed to be immortal. They do not die. Nor do they have any common-shared morals like something they should all fight for.

Hm...taking a look at the family trees of both Greek and Norse gods:

Greek

Norse (not fully correct or complete but anyways)

I'm starting to lean more on the Greek god side. (both seem to have a passion for sexual intercourse :P)

Exactly. In Elysia you lay around in peaceful green fields. In Valhalla you fight all day, every day for eternity in preparation for Ragnarok.

The Norse gods would win, but that doesn't stop me from worshipping Greek gods. They know how to enjoy the finer things in life unlike those Norse warmongerers. Bacchus, FTW.
