[QUOTE="Cube_of_MooN"][QUOTE="hagadorn"][QUOTE="Cube_of_MooN"][QUOTE="hagadorn"]Apparently the terminal velocity of a cat is around 60mph and a cat falling at that speed and given enough time to react to the situation can land without injuring itself so no matter how high you dropped it from it would survive.hagadorn
Nope.
Thats not a counter argument, where is your evidence to support that it would die?
I get the feeling that if I threw a cat out of an airplane it would not survive. You did say any height, after all.
It most likely would survive, the height makes absolutely no difference to how much damage it will take, its all to do with speed and seeing as a cat can survive a fall at 60mph and its terminal velocity is 60mph then it will survive being dropped from any height as long as it has time to react and prepare itself, its just like flicking a spider from a table, that table is pretty damn high compared to the spider but its terminal velocity is so low that it will survive the fall.
I get the feeling that it would pass out mid flight, and not land on its feet, and thus, die.
