Britain would not go to war with Iran, it is crazy. There are plenty of countries among which is Russia who would strongly oppose it.

Nukes would not be involved in a war like this. And may I remind you that the Roman empire was defeated by barbarians, 

who weren't train as well or as tech. advanced as the romans.
