Article 1, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution gives Congress the power to establish roads. As such and because they are Constitutionalists, I would be surprised if the Tea Party would have a problem with it (who knows about a few individuals, every group has nuts in it). I'm guessingyou should try something else.
