@top_lel: Fair enough, I do the same. Even though I am left handed I use my cutlery "the proper way" even though it's less comfortable for me. It's only when I'm snacking (as in finger-food) that I grab food with my left since table manners don't dictate otherwise. I was just surprised to know that even that could have a religious meaning.

Thank you for your time and patience in your explanations =)

Every little thing in every day life could have a religious meaning to us. Like entering/leaving the bathroom, entering/leaving the house, sleeping at night, what to do before you sleep etc.. Every little thing has it's religious and scientific significance if done in the manner the way Prophet used to..

To answer seriously though, movies do not cause people to discriminate people based on their religion.

Censoring art is counter productive and will not achieve the effect you'd want it to because the cause you seek for the discrimination is not there.

@top_lel: Sounds awfully restrictive (although I'm sure when done in faith it does not feel so)...also, I'm assuming those were random examples and you guys don't really have descriptions on how your Prophet entered and exited the bathroom, right?

Nope. It's not restrictive not by any means. It's not like we'll be doing a great sin if we don't do it the same way as Prophet used to. We take it as 'suggestions' which are possibly better for us. Like Prophet used to enter the bathroom with his left foot. What's the significance? well when you get a heart attack, 90% chance is that you'll fall to the direction of your right foot. That is to say, entering the bathroom with your left foot means your right foot is out of the bathroom. Now let's suppose one gets a heart attack while entering the bathroom, he'll fall outside the bathroom. This especially means something in public bathrooms lol.

Yes we do have descriptions for everything. Every little thing in Islam is given a little bit of religious significance. Then, the science proved overtime how that little religious significance also has some scientific significance. Brushing your teeth before going to sleep is also one of the manners taught to us. See? it's basically just what you do in your daily life. There's just a little bit of religious involvement that makes every little thing a source to seek the good reward for us (you don't have to believe it but ok).

Sadly, people who don't discriminate people from other religions/races based on movies are very few. When you see the same bad thing rehashed about one particular group, your mind tends to perceive it as that. This reminds me of one episode from "The Point" by Danny on GS. That episode came out months ago. I've forgotten the title but it dealt with Nazis being always portrayed as the bad guys in games and in movies alike. Watching that episode will clear out 95% of the situation here.

Deal with it? Christian's have had to become pretty thick skinned over the years, just because something offends you doesn't make it a big deal.

Absolutely not.

There is not a single scientific evidence to back up your point and you say that based on your world perception.

Movies do not cause discrimination, unless you can find me a piece of solid evidence suggesting otherwise.
