I've been busted cheating in the past, tell her or don't, it really doesn't matter. Either way you've screwed yourself. Speaking from experience, girlfriends don't tend to take issue with how they found out, only that it happened. If you tell them yourself, it's more of a conscience, or personal morality issue, then one relevent to the cheating. Take for example that I have been caught in all three ways, while in the act, someone has told on me, and I've come clean to her myself, it didn't matter one bit. The argument wasn't any less for telling her myself, or for being cught. It's the fact of the cheating that matters.

All that said, I have definitely learned my lesson on this one. Best advice, don't cheat. Ever. I know I never will again. Remember that if you really care, you will not want to put your significant other through that. However much joy or pleasure you might get from cheating, your partener will hurt a hundred times more.

I wouldn't do it. If I wanted to cheat on them, I would break up with them and do it guilt free.

I would never cheat if I really liked someone. But to this day, I only liked one girl, so I can cheat to all the others I don't. Problem?

I wish I could say yes, but the truth is I probably wouldn't. If I could definitely get away with it, I probably would be a selfish bastard and not tell, I'd probably reason its because I'd want them to not tell me, but the truth is I'd want to know, and I'd only not tell so I could selfishly stay with her.

That's a tough question, you wouldn't know until you're in that situation.

I don't know what I would do, but I would probably break up with her right after I did and if there were no other reason for us to break up, I would tell her and say I'm sorry and blah blah you deserve someone better.

I'd never cheat on someone though because i'm not scumbag who treats girls like dirt. If you're gonna cheat on a girl, or think you're capable of it, just don't do it. Same for girls.

I doubt I would say anything. Only time I ever did cheat on my partner at the time it was with her sister (as my GF had cheated on me first) so she soon found out about it.

Speaking as someone who has been cheated on a fair few times by the same guy.. it's best to tell. The guilt eats you up. It made him act weird and eventually he blew and confessed all. As someone has previously said in the thread, there is lie after lie and it just gets worse. Ignorance is bliss in some circumstances, and maybe for some people, but i'd like to know if my guy was off with another girl(s)
