I would, if I'm not rich in the future than making myself so would be changing quite a bit. I wouldn't want to mess with that, I don't even like porn now, I couldn't care less what ever kind of crazy wacky stuff we'll have decades from now.

I'd be interested on how much we have advanced since now and things that have gone on around the world. That, and I'd want to look into myself and learn about all that has happened to me from the various choices I've made and such. Which, is arguably more self destructive then getting money I shouldn't have.

I would not want to know about wars or other significant future events that I could not change. Or I might try and change it, like Sarah Connor, only to make things worse and find that it can't be changed anyway. And I *definitely* would not want to know about me personally and what I did/when my death date is etc. I think knowledge of the future is a curse!

Cure for cancer etc. a good idea but 5 minutes of future internet is rather limiting and you might not be able to download it all in time or whatever. Lotto numbers seem like the best option to me for these reasons.

Well..... I thought of things that I could change within my grasp. I've thought of those things that were mentioned above but are way too broad & out of my reach to make a change. It will still happen regardless of whether or not I know about it. I mean no offense but even if you found out that there was World War III, you can't prevent it from happening. If you tried to go talk to the President, you'd likely be thrown into a mental institution or jail for conspiring war.

While if something were to happen to a friend or family member, I might be able to persuade them otherwise. Winning the lotto would be a nice thing also. Help pay off debts for friends & family, buy them a nice house & car, donate to great causes & charities & other selfless acts. It's free money so why not? Winning the lotto doesn't mean you're gonna be a selfish kook.
