WWI - 4,734,991 serving / 53,402 battle deaths - 1.1% killed

Without counting the smaller wars such as the Gulf, I think I picked the right one.

that is just the americans though look up how many were lost by the russians in WWII.

Hey Don't leave out the 11 million Civilians who died in WWII!

WWII That is the war that I strongly believe should have been. 

Personally I would rather fight and die for a cause I believe in (stopping Hitler and the Italian Facist leader. srry can't remember his name right now im tired.) then live through a war I despise like Iraq or Vietnam.

 (I say this now but lieing on a field dying I probly would say something different)

 Yeah, I always imagine what would've happened if the Americans just had one minigun with them. That war would've ended FAST.

P.S. Gulf War in the Air Force. I never hear about pilots dying.

And I agree with those that say WWII, that was a worthy cause to fight for, on the allies side.

At the hieght of the vietnam war there were 8 million in uniform, Or there were 8 million who went to vietnam overall, I can't remeber either way 500,000 is no were close, there wouldn't have been a draft if we only needed 500,000 men.
