Civil War - 3,213,363 serving / 191,963 battle deaths - 5.9% killed
WWI - 4,734,991 serving / 53,402 battle deaths - 1.1% killed
WWII - 16,112,566 serving/ 291,557 battle deaths - 1.8% killed
Vietnam - 8,744,000 serving / 47,424 battle deaths - 0.54% killed
Without counting the smaller wars such as the Gulf, I think I picked the right one.
that is just the americans though look up how many were lost by the russians in WWII.

 WWII would be my first.
But I have a question about this post......would it be faster to list the Countries that England has "not" gone to war with or the ones they have?
Probably since they did control 80%+ of the world at one stage

Hey Don't leave out the 11 million Civilians who died in WWII!
WWII That is the war that I strongly believe should have been.Â
Personally I would rather fight and die for a cause I believe in (stopping Hitler and the Italian Facist leader. srry can't remember his name right now im tired.) then live through a war I despise like Iraq or Vietnam.
(I say this now but lieing on a field dying I probly would say something different)
American Revolution, I'd bring a minigun with me too. Line up for me you Redcoats!!Hellraiser3899
Yeah, I always imagine what would've happened if the Americans just had one minigun with them. That war would've ended FAST.
Â
P.S. Gulf War in the Air Force. I never hear about pilots dying.Â

Mussolini was the Italian you are referring to.
And I agree with those that say WWII, that was a worthy cause to fight for, on the allies side.

At the hieght of the vietnam war there were 8 million in uniform, Or there were 8 million who went to vietnam overall, I can't remeber either way 500,000 is no were close, there wouldn't have been a draft if we only needed 500,000 men.
American Civil War. The 54th Massachusetts volunteer regiment. I'd fight alongside Denzel and Matty Broderick 8)DarkKarBuller? Bueller? Anyone? lol
