People sue way too much and I see it all the time in the News. I always think they're a douche. I will not be that douche.
Nah. Shit happens sometimes. The people who would sue for such things are the defination of idiocy.Â
Â
No need to look like an idiot infront of everyone on the media.
No, because someone has to pay for the court's time to allow such garbage. I for one, would simply bring it back to the store to get a refund. Things aren't perfect in life and you shouldn't be allowed to sue for anything, which it looks like for the most part they have attempted to clean it up. Unfortunately, there are still many many ambulance chasers. Now, if there was evidence that said material in the oatmeal was deliberately placed in that box, then you have a gripe.
Bug? As in beetle, moth, spider, normal 'bug' like that? No.
see a maggot infested rat chunk. dave123321
Maybe.
A bug no, a maggot infested rat chunk? OMG that would be awful. Don't know about suing, but I would definitely getting a refund.
If I have to waste my time going back to a store because someone messed up, I deserve more then just a refund. I'm not saying that I would sue, but the last thing I wanted is a maggot infested rat chunk in my cherrios.
Can't be any worse than when I ate sneeze guard glass that was in a pizza slice when I went to a buffet.
I would not sue. I would report it, get a replacement meal or a refund, and then decide whether to eat there again in the future.
Edit: Ok, so I should have read the first post, and thought you meant at a restaurant. Â What I said I'd do, I probably would do at a resaurant, but in that case, TC, I don't know if there'd be much you could do about it other than just get something else to eat. Â It would be difficult to prove it came that way, and it would probably cost more in time and court fees than it'd be worth.
well if you want to sue then prepare to live in court because all your food is riddled with bugs, mold, rat shyt and vermin hairs.
here is the fda guidlines on how much they allow.

here is an example.

PEANUT BUTTERInsect filthIn all fairness, that's a little bit different than a maggot-infested rat chunk.well if you want to sue then prepare to live in court because all your food is riddled with bugs, mold, rat shyt and vermin hairs.

I wish TC would edit the title to "maggot infested rat chunk." That's a pretty big difference from a bug.
I edited in animal and etc now due to the responsesI wish TC would edit the title to "maggot infested rat chunk." That's a pretty big difference from a bug.

lol wow. Â I normally think sueing is rediculous, and I am not sure I would in this case, but that is a pretty extreme example. Â That is f***ing gross.
Â
lol just noticing that it was not always "maggot infested rat chunk". Â
The title had bug, but the actual OP had the maggot invested rat chunklol wow. Â I normally think sueing is rediculous, and I am not sure I would in this case, but that is a pretty extreme example. Â That is f***ing gross.
