Having their own site to run, I highly doubt they spend a ton of time posting on other game-related sites.

Thats the thing, they don't run their own site, they are well off enough to have someone else do it. All the Gabe and Tycho do is work on the comic, really. Their financial affairs for the site is handled by their old friend Robert, who appears in several comics. They both own the site and the comic, but they leave all non-creative work to Robert and whoever they hire to run the site.
Hell, they don't usually post on their own forums. Gabe does it like once a month, and I've heard that Tycho has only posted once.
I was just thinking about this earlier today actually. I think I probably would. I'd probably get flamed beyond all reason because people would be like "Boo you suck 'cause you're famous!", but at that point, I'd be famous, so who cares what a bunch of guys (and a few girls) on a gaming website think?
