I already have a band. It's called Van Demon's Land. An alternative spelling to Van Diemen's Land. Which was the name Europeans gave the australian island of Tasmania before it was actually called Tasmania.
I was in a band for several years named Genocya. Just don't ask me what the name means. Neither I, nor any of the past or present band members know. Near as I can figure the original singer was a huge fan of the band Overkill, who have a song named Genocya. We figure that's where he go the name from. Ironically years later we opened for Overkill when they played a show in Detroit. They didn't know what it meant either....go figure haha.
If I got the chance to name my own band it would probably be something referencing the work of HP Lovecraft. Something like House of R'lyeh, Strange Aeons, Or Unknown Kadath.
Or if I wanted to get a more nerdy direction, I would probably name it Element Zero. An obvious reference to Mass Effect. :lol:
