USA, Canada, Western and Northern Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong are all off limits since they are developed areas.

Poor=Developing countries

So, where would you move? Or would you rather say "screw it" and take a bullet to the head instead?

I'd just take that bullet. Screw it.

LOL

I don't know what countries are considered poor and what ones would be ones that I would want to live in.

It certainly counts. Wouldn't want to live there though. It can be a pretty scary place by our western standards.

Yeah, China isn't exactly a developed country yet. They have a lot of poverty in the west and southwest parts and have huge human rights violations, too. I know the West has human rights violations too, but China's violations are still going on strong.

LOL, I had to edit this twice.

Don't move there if you're white or a female. Millions of whites have left due to government-mandated discrimination and violence and it has the highest occurrence of rape in the world.

Hence why I need that diamond!

But I actually didn't know that about the government mandate. I'll have to rethink my country of choice.:x

My friend moved there as an exchange student. She says all the stores and restaurants open up at 10:30AM, people yelling at each other is polite conversation, and people ride their motorbikes on the sidewalk. Have fun :P

I remember enough from my Boy Scout days to survive in the jungle, as long as nothing big comes along. And several of those countries have started to modernize and open themselves to the West.

Cuba, Argentina (not really a poor country but... ignorant people might consider it), Nepal, Madagascar, and of course Costa Rica (although I think that falls in the first world category).

Or I could just go to Puerto Rico since its technically not a country, but gets treated as if it were

Cancun is pretty much the safest place in Mexico. The crime there isn't too wide spread outside urban centers and there's no way in hell I'd be buying a place in the city anyway.

please stop being an idiot. you do know there are different levels of poverty right? you cannot compare the poverty of a country like sudan or uganda with the poverty of a country like panama. panama is an awesome place to live and its very "modenr" and yet its considered a "poor" country

It's a developing country.

That's putting it mildly. Every day I see the trucks picking up all the used garage doors and sheet metal siding that they bring back down to Mexico for people to make their homes out of. It's about as 3rd world as it gets.
