That depends...which god? If you mean the abrahamic god...then I would turn myself into Odin and create the rest of the Norse pantheon, and let the awesomeness ensue:D
I would write a book with my own figurative hands in all the languages of humans, explaining in detail and without mystery who, what, when, how, why etc.
First off, Hell would no longer be everlasting fire. It'd be a small room, with BrokenCYDE blasted over loudspeakers at every second. There'd also be a computer in the corner, but it only plays Fred videos. Take that, sinners! :x

i would probably try and start a war between the US and russia vs pretty much everybody else. let them duke it out, then turn back time so it never happened. and save it on my heavenly tivo as a 3d video file, so i could watch any part of it at any time. that would keep me happy enough to ignore all the athiests in the world. then i'd do the neutron star thing, except i would make one neutron star and launch other stuff at it to see what happens. (IE naked singularities, large planets, supernovas, etc)
Why are so many people so unhappy with atheists? If I became God I wouldn't care what they thought to be honest, I'd still let them into heaven as long as they weren't a horrible person.
Make it where people will stop having mental issues saying that "I" hate certain kinds of people, when I really don't. I'll make it rain whiffle ball bats ontop of those people who are acting like idiots who try to speak for me. ERRR!

How can you invent something when you're god? Shouldn't you be sending a message to your people with this idea? I don't know. All I know is I found one in a box once and I yelled "My God!", so he currently has credit. I just wish he would send more. That was such an awesome Mini Wheat. It was a shame I had to eat it.
I'd try to figure out how I could possibly be God if something has enough power over me to make me God. Would not the "God maker" technically be God and not me?
