Three days ago, I made a thread asking GameSpot users how open they would be about their sexuality if they were a gay man. That thread inspired me to make a new one to gauge the difference in responses between my previous thread and this thread.
If I were a gay woman, I would definitely date woman, but I would be very private about it and I wouldn't succumb to sex. I don't think homosexuality should be something to make public, regardless of whether society accepts it or not. Yes, I realize that my answer, compared to my previous thread, shows a double standard in my thinking. I'm proud of that double standard because I feel that a lesbian relationship can be done reasonably if private. I wouldn't be with a man because if I cannot stomach the thought of a man as a straight man, then I definitely won't as a lesbian. That, and additionally, I wouldn't want to give birth to any children. So, even though I would marry a woman and start a family if I were a gay man, I wouldn't do the opposite if I were a lesbian. Of course, I may be biased personally because as it stands now, as a straight man, I prefer women, so it's natural to think that if I were a lesbian, I would be more inclined to exercise my homosexuality when I think about it as a straight man. If I were actually a lesbian, that of course may change.
Anyway, how public about your sexuality would you be if you were a lesbian? I left no option for conversion therapy, so keep that in mind.
