I wouldn't practice any "element" as real ninja aren't like the ones from Naruto. Most of their talents lie in social subterfuge (blending in with peasants, sometimes for months at a time) and espionage (retrieval of plans or locations of people/things from high-ranking officials). The whole clad-in-black ninja is one of mythology. The ninja of reality are far more boring.
