AK-47 i have use it so many times in games that it is familiar to me And it is a gun that has prove its value for more than50 yearsdelol

You've used it in games so it should be good in real life? :| M4 for me.

I have fired both weapons (semi and auto) and there are pros and cons for both weapons

M4

Has accuracy and precision, doesn't weigh as much, down side smaller caliber and jams frequently in full auto mode

AK-47

Not as accurate, has stopping power, larger caliber and pretty much can drag that thing through hell and back and it won't jam

Comes down to personal preferrences more then anything, for me I'll take the AK

Definetly the AK. Just because the M4 is easier to control doesn't make it better. I doubt any people know how to field strip it here and without proper cleaning the M4 is a piece of crap. The Ak on the other hand requires very little maitenace, is simple and is incredibly hardy. zombiefruit

The M4 isn't that hard to strip, and it's much more accurate than an AK. I think 5.56 rounds are better than 7.62 anyway. Either way, I wish the US would start giving soldiers a gun that combines the best aspects of both weapons.

I've heard that the M4 is a flawed design. Plus having actually fired the Ak in real life, I'd have to go with it.

I've heard a lot of good about the AK-47 and its ease of use, so I'd go with that. However, I am a true American, and I would be a little torn about my decision.BrendanBox39

Ok, so in that case you can think about the flag when your gun jams and ill just use my ak to shoot you in the head :D

I can field strip an SA80, the British Army's primary gun, are they similar? AK is a LOT more reliable than most guns out there so I chose that.

And you know this from how many examples? How many all out wars has the US been in since the creation of the AK? None? Ohh right, there was that whole cold war thing going on which prevented conventional all out war from happening with the threat of a nuclear war. So what proof do you have thats true.

I can name 2 nations that gave the US a very hard time with the use of the AK: The quagmire that was Vietnam, and the middle eastern Vietnam (can anyone guess what it is :D).
