How do you make people believe something doesn't exist? Quite simply, the education system. You teach them not to believe. You make them feel bad, or inferior, for believing.

That's an interesting idea, but it would be insinuating that Satan developed the education system or at least had a hand in its development. Even more so since he gave Eve the idea to eat the fruit of knowledge.

I disagree. You don't need a hand in developing the system itself. With knowledge comes an obvious questioning of the things one has been taught. If you promote the acquisition of knowledge, you're accomplishing the same thing.

The second part comes from the derision most atheists hold for those of faith. What better way to make people think you don't exist by having "warriors" of your own stomp out the faithful?

Lucifer decided he didn't want to serve God since humans had become God's Number One Favorites, so he started a rebellion. He lost, and was thrown out of Heaven.
