But anyways. Cutters do it for attention, so you need to just be there for them and make sure you spend a lot of time around them, so you can keep an eye on them and look out for the signals of when the cutting is about to start.

I can honestly say I have never met anyone who thought that cutting was cool. All the people I have known do their best to hide the cuts and (when they're well) feel an embarrassment for resorting to cutting.

Suicide is usually a decision made on a moments notice, sure many people have suicidal thought before they actually commit the act but how and when they are going to do it is usually undecided and when an oppurtunity ( like pills, knifes, guns, rope ) enters itself that is when they make the decision. So keep her away from anything that she could use to hurt herself and make sure everyone else in her life does the same.

With the insecurities she most likely has right now he should do his best to appear as a friend who really cares for just her. Dont want her to think, and while it wouldnt be but sometimes its just the insecurities, that he is just there because he wants to take advantage of it all.

So loved.. hmm.. Make sure she knows that Her existence matters and someone wants her to be around to make them happier too. Friends. Make sure she knows that her caring matters too.
