what he saidI'd let my friends and relatives know. It'd be pretty hard to explain otherwise if I suddenly roll up in a Ferrari.

I would not tell a soul except for my mom and dad.
nobody would know, either, because I would save that money for the most part, and everything I want is not vain or flashy at all.
I wouldn't tell no one about it because I'm greedy like that.
Gaming-Planet
its not greedy.
there are dozens, maybe hundreds, of lottery horror stories when people go public.
You are a very smart man. There's no need to feel guilt for not telling your entire family.I would not tell a soul except for my mom and dad.

I would tell my family but keep it a secret from everyone else and then wait and see if they catch on that i can afford to buy whatever easily with no job.
By the time my friends found out, I would be long gone so they couldn't beg for it anyway. :lol:I would tell my family but keep it a secret from everyone else and then wait and see if they catch on that i can afford to buy whatever easily with no job.

Winning millions in a lotto, you could buy a second car (a plain sedan or coupe). Then they wouldn't know about your Ferrari.:lol:I'd let my friends and relatives know. It'd be pretty hard to explain otherwise if I suddenly roll up in a Ferrari.

There would be very few people I would tell.
This exactly.I'd even hide it from family. New found wealth sometimes turns people into monsters.

Yes they do. At least here they do.[QUOTE="Im_single"]Doesn't the lotto company release your name and amount won anyway?Pirate700
im fairly sure when you call in to claim it you can ask to remain anonymous, at least in California you can.
Also, here is a new question: would you A.) take the large lump sum right away that isnt the entire prize, or B.) take smaller payments that eventually add up to more over 40 years?
