What would Earth be like?

If America conquered the world, there would probably be revolts everywhere, and we'd crush them with our massive army. Then we'd start work on our space program to invade the Moon. :P

j/k. I'd hate to see any single country rule the world. A United Nations type rule is more desirable. In any event, the countries comprising Asia would most likely control the world by sheer population size.

Population size is meaningless after a certain number. China's huge population didn't prevent it from being trampled upon by Japan and all the European powers back in the early 1900's.
