Quislings go down easier than Zacks. Sucks to be you.
I am studying the The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z, and my plan is still under formation. Its hard to get a soleid plan when you keep moving... but there are many aspects, all of which I am too tired to expalin to you individuals that have no clue on how to survive this. But to many of you who think zombie killing spree is the way to go, njoy your commando outing ;)
I'd load up on supplies here where I'm based, got access to the armory so I could get my M16, M9 and lots of ammo for each with relatively no problem. After that, I'd hit up supply, load up on all the M.R.E.'s I could get, load everything into a boat here at the Marina and paddle out to one of the islands that are a few hundred yeards offshore.8)

is the island secure? do you have people with you? do you know zombies can walk across the sea floor? is there shelter on the Island? all questions youd need to ask youslef

Sluggo, don't even try to bring logic into this thread. Please.-Sluggo-
I have to. You have to understand what kind of zombies they are before you make a plan.
Super Zombies.
ZING!
I would.. Go to the nearest shoppin' mall.. Secure it badly.. And wait for them to get me.. *End of Movie*

-Island's secure, it's the island they used to film the show Gilligan's Island and there's a visitor's center that could be cleared out easily, strong re-inforced concrete which is used to taking a beating during storm season here in Hawaii.
-I'd bring about 2 or 3 friends along, all fellow Marines so we'd have a stronger chance of survival with the increase in weaponry & our skill set of lasting for long periods of time basically off of the land.
-Zombies coming across the bay over to the island? Highly unlikely I think, because it's a steep dropoff and the water extends down to about 75 feet. It's clear enough you can see all the way to the bottom in most areas though, so it shouldn't be an issue.

good plan. last suggestion. do you fish and do you plant? you will need to learn to do both. Also a marine with medical history will be needed. and possibly a way to contact those away from your island like a CB radio or something. You dont want to be there forever do you? zombies can survive for up to 5 years
[QUOTE="MissRiotmaker"]I'd be leading the zombies onwards to world domination.MgamerBD
i would be one of those zombies.
Probably, if not you'd soon become one, as zombies and ghouls under my command will leave nothing living.[QUOTE="MarineJcksn"][QUOTE="Premier1101"][QUOTE="MarineJcksn"]Premier1101

-I fish pretty well with rod & reel and have a few poles and tackle, a few of my friends are pretty skilled at spear fishing so I'd bring one of those guys with me. The bay is loaded with a rich diet of fish, dozens of smaller reef dwelling kinds along with hammerhead sharks, eels, etc.
-As for planting vegetables & such, I grew up on a family farm and worked it with my dad since I was 11, so I'm pretty knowledgeable on planting food sources.
-Medically, I'd definitely bring along 1 Navy Corpsman. They're trained to treat all battlefield wounds, administer CPR and basic first aid plus a limited level of preventive medicine. Plus, just the basic military training I've received in the Marines I know how to treat a lot of common injuries, broken bones and such.
-Finally for radio contact I'd take portable radios like the one's we get issued from supply, the battery life is long plus they can be supplied by replaceable batteries like the kind you get at electronic stores. Most of them also have a C/B band, which enables pretty foolproof communication.
I wouldn't plan on holding up there forever, this is just a stronghold that could be easily supplied, fortified and escaped from if anything went wrong. It's probably roughly 500 yards from shore, so I could easily see what was going on over there.
