IGN says $uckerPunch is misunderstood

I sort of agree, as this was a upfront action fest movie (a-la Transformers)

Its target audience really seems to enjoy it, and all the people I know that went to see it.

I'm the target audience and found it mind-numbingly boring.

And Snyder intended it to be a deep multilayered movie treating serious themes, dressed up as an action fest. It's a failure.

I agree with IGN on the point that it is getting too much hate. People usually like the action, but hate the story; what did you think you were paying to see? This is an action movie with a loose plot to tie the scenes together, I don't know why some people were expecting more. And I didn't think the story was that bad, I'm still thinking about the ending.

To be fair, the original IGN reviewer called it trash and said it was the front runner for next years Golden Raspberry's.

I think this should be given more hate simply because it seems like a embarrassing and shameless cash in the video game crowd.. Only extending the stereotype that people who enjoy video games are a bunch of nerdy kids who want to see sexy skimpy dressed women kicking ass in a story that makes little to no sense.
