that's pretty good. my friend weighs 133 and can bench 215 and he's been plateaued for awhile. I weigh 119 and can only bench 130 right now. Gonna start working out a bit more often and my goal for summer is to get to 150/160

We'll it isn't short, but it is a little below average. Also to re itterate what someone said before, bench lifting does indeed stunt your growth if you begin at an early age and workout persistently.

Not beastly but definitely well above ordinary. My senior year of football in highschool we had 18 year olds on the team that weighed 200 pound and could hardly bench 180. Myself and two other linemen were the only ones who could lift worth a damn and my max was 300. And yes, my football team DID suck. 2 wins in 4 years I was there ..or... ?

Yeah thats pretty good for your weight I guess. Im 21, 6'3" and a bit above 200 lbs. Not sure how much I can bench though, I go with reps more than weight, and usually do dumbbell excercises. I feel as if fast twitch muscle is more effective than brute strength muscle, unless you want to become one of them strong men, lifting truck tires and what not.

My last year in high school (last year) I was about 150 pounds, six foot even. My one rep max bench press was 325 pounds. But I was an offensive lineman/shot putter/discus thrower, so I was in the weight room pretty much year round for five straight years starting in eighth grade. Anywhere close to 200 pounds is well above average for your weight class.

Not really. You're really short for 17, which gives you a huge advantage in benching. And 190 isn't really that impressive anyhow.

At birth I could bench about 500 pounds.
When they bench in Europe, do they weight bars by pounds or kilograms?

For an casual person 1.5xBW is good. However to people who strenght train all the time, no not really. Now if you said, I'm 130 pounds and my raw numbers were 250+ Bench, around 450+ deadlift and 275+ Squats then I would give you some props.

Thats absolutely not true. As for the 190lbs bench, assuming you went all the way down on a normal 3 foot grip and all the way back up without locking your elbows and arching your back, then that is a great 1 rep max for a 130lber, but i doubt you really did it.
