I'm afraid to goto bed now...

I just went into my bedroom and there was a HUGE black spider sitting on my bed just starring my in the face. So I went to the kitchen to get a glass (Hell if I'm gonna touch the thing without one) and when I came back it was gone. So what do I do? Do I goto bed knowing theres a big black spider crawling around somewhere in there?

No, I think I'd stay up until I found it or determined that it was gone.

How huge? It is most likely harmless anyway, like most spiders. It probably just crawled under the covers or something.yentlequible

lol, unless it was those big hairy ones, I doubt you'd be at risk...I mean, common spiders always run around my house and I don't really care, I just let 'em go do their business.

I read somewhere that on average you swallow at least one spider a week while sleeping with your mouth open.F1_2004

You should cheer up, what if it's the good ^luck spider^ that killed my cat. It works wonders on pets.

That species of spider cannot bite a human.

But this huge wolf spider can inflict painful bites. They have excellent eyesight too.

I would search until I found it or if I didn't find it, I would sleep far away from that room.
