Im having a problem with knowing a person.

I mean he speaks, but I dont really understand him (when I saw him last), is there a way to understand him a lot better?

lol I know a guy and he hardly speaks at all and instead communicate by pointing at stuff. So it ends up with me getting pissed off and yelling at him. I still "have a problem knowing him"
