It's most likely genetic. There are lifestyle changes you can make to reduce the rate of loss: diet, exercise, manage stress. There are tablets (finasteride) and other products (Rogaine) that can be used to reduce the rate of loss and, in some cases, even lead to regrowth. Rogaine is pretty expensive where I live but it's easy and cheap to make. You can check out some pharmacies and ask if they'll make it for you.
Yes the pill the doc prescribed is exactly finesteride 1. So you're actually familiar with this? I can manage the stress. I just wish I could free up some time (and money) for exercise....but I'm sure the diet is ok. after all my brother lives with us (eats the same food as me) and he he's got a crazy full load of hair.
I don't know nothing about Rogaine though. Doc never mentioned it.
Yeah, finasteride was originally, and is normally, used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia. It reduces the prostate, if it's enlarged, improving urinary outflow. It's now also used for decreasing the rate of hair loss and even regrowing in areas which have ceased growing. Side effects can suck, I'm sure the doc told you what you could expect.
Rogaine contains minoxidil. There are generics available as well, which are at least $10 cheaper than the brand name. It has to be used twice a day, every day, and the hair/head has to be kept dry for 4 hours. It's common to start seeing effects in a few months. You have to be devoted to using it as directed, with no deviations. It's also expensive. Depending on where you live and what kind of insurance you have, you could get a prescription for it and get it for much cheaper.
As for exercising you don't need that much room or even equipment. I used to do Beachbody's Insanity workout routine, but you can do anything.
Jesus man. Haw do you know all this? You a doc?
I guess that explains why I feel so full of piss at nights. Sometimes it gets so full that it wakes me up and leaves no choice but to actually get up off the bed and go to bathroom. ANNOYING. But hey, I can't make an omelette without breaking eggs.
Just Googled the workout routine. Looks doable.

baldness is a sign of masculinity because all adult men lose their headhair when they have a certain amount of testostorone levels.
It could also be hereditary but when you pack something significant, chances are your hair just falls out because of testostorone.
You might look int the mirror and see you lost that boyish look but trust me , women like men better.
Btw: I'm not bald and i'm 38. Some of my friends are bald though, but they also have bigger d..., Mine is good enough though but still, I would trade the hair lol
"You might look int the mirror and see you lost that boyish look but trust me , women like men better."
I'm glad you brought this up, cuz forgot to say that in the opening post. One of the things that bugs me the most, is that I've lost that youngish look. The other day, I just look back at a two year old photo with my brother and and a few fiends. They all look the same now, but man, I'm not that guy anymore. Not only the hair, but also the overall look on my face, the feeling that you have when you look at a young person...it's simply gone now.
People around regularly tell me I look a lot older that 22-23. Some say 30 is the minimum age they expected me to be.
But I trust you with that last sentence. There could be a silver lining in all of this :))))
"I'm not bald and i'm 38. Some of my friends are bald though, but they also have bigger d..., Mine is good enough though but still, I would trade the hair lol"
That gave me a good laugh :D
Well of course at 23 you're still a very young man, and a 20 year old girl might still be something you're interested in, and they might not be interested in you , because you look too old for them.
But here's the thing, a lot of those girls are still too childish to waste your time with, in the end it probably won't last anyway because they will change too much.
Of course at 20 , a lot of girls aren't childish at all anymore and those will look past that baldness, or better yet, they will be more interested in you because you look older.
I can honestly tell you , the older you get , the easier women get. There's something magical about aging in a man and I wish I knew this when I was younger, then I wouldn't have worried so much about getting older.
Yes. The right person will (hopefully most likely) come along, whether you're bald or not. So obsession is pointless.
". There's something magical about aging in a man and I wish I knew this when I was younger, then I wouldn't have worried so much about getting older."
What's past is past, you need to look forward. I believe you're married, still, if you wanna do some "side quests", now that you've gained more experience, you should do and enjoy :D

Wow you're going bald at such a young age. I know it sucks because you could lose your self confidence so easily which can lead to severe depression. And it makes you look a lot older than you actually are.
Like others have mentioned, you can shave it all off. Although not everyone looks good with a bald head.. But I mean I guess it's better than only having hair on the sides and back off your head while it's bald on the top. That look just looks pitiful.
Or as others have mentioned a hair transplant. Supposedly hairclub or Bosley are the best two options for that.
Just want to wish you go of luck on whatever path you choose.
Thanx mate. I'll figure something out.

The suggestions have already been declared so i won't bother, just take it easy and roll with it, after all we're great at adapting.
Hey Hamid! Glad to see you too. Funny, a few days back I was talking to my college buddy about leaving the old country behind to continue studying abroad. I suggested that it might be difficult to just leave, he said we're great at adapting to anything. I guess you guys really have a point :D
