I treat everyone with dignity, even people who can be a bit intimidating. Even the old man coming up to me outside of a gas station and saying; "Excuse me little man, can I have some change for some chicken?" To which I responded "Why sure! Come on in and I'll buy you some." Fun times.

Yah but I'm usually bored out of my mind talking to girls I have no interest in. The ones I'm interested in are the hardest to talk to. But like someone said earlier it's most likely intimidation.

Old people are generally cool; I have no problems with them. However if I see some battered drunk coming towards me, I'll keep my distance and remain defensive.

Try not to think about being able to date her one day or freaking out that you really don't want to mess up in front of her if anything. Just try to think of things to start or say in the convo, maybe about class, or a teacher you don't like. If you think about the whole dating and messing up things you'll just freak and blank.. Just keep talking to them like you are? The convos will get going eventually.

lol, that was good! I don't see why people think it's so hard to talk to others, it has always been easy for me, two things could happen -

A. You get turned down or

B. They stick it out and have a convo with you and it goes from there.
