I'm so angry with myself!

Well here's the story:

Last Friday night I was at a dance. I was just hanging out, having fun, and I saw this girl I had never seen befpre. It took me a while to work it up, but I eventually asked her out. She said no. I wasn't that bothered - She didn't know my name, and I didn't know hers (For a while atleast) - And I had forgotten about her on Monday.

But today I logged in to MySpace (Something I rarely do) and was just surfing. I came to the profile of a friend of hers who I am friends with and she'd uploaded pictures today of the Friday night...

I decided to look at the pictures of her, and I have no idea why, but now she's back in my head :cry: and I don't think I'm going to be able to forget her.. :(

Well, negative feelings won't assist you in any positive way. Let go of them. Recenter yourself, and find a solution.

Simple. Second, just wandering up to girls and asking them out is never going to work. You should watch the Pick Up Artist on VH1. I admit it's kind of trashy show, but it'll give you a better idea of how you should be approaching the opposite sex.

That doesn't make you an idiot. What you should do is just be friends with her, if you can do that, because that will make it easier for the two of you to get to know you, in which case, there may be potential for a relationship later.Genetic_Code

This. You should have at least talked to her for a couple of hours, or maybe you did and just forgot to mention it, but it seems like the only thing you can do now is forget about it and move on. I have been in somewhat of the same situation were I couldn't get a girl out of my head but eventually I moved on and met who is now my current girlfriend :D

I understand becoming attached to a girl you know, but how do you become attached to a girl whom you've said no more than maybe 20 words to then stalked on MySpace?

If there were ever a chance that the girl would date you, then you'd never end up in the "friend zone." If you end up in the "friend zone" you never had a chance with her.

Better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all.... wait.. that doesn't quite work here.. @_@
