The Age of Idiots.
I think it is fitting.
howlrunner13
it do seem fitting because the leaders of today have really f-up things.
even though some ppl have made some great technological strides for humanity we prolly wont be remember for them as much as for the troubling times we brought on to ourselves.
anyway, i think some ppl call this the New Age. why? i really don't know...

It will only hurt your ego :|
Impossible! You will only make it stronger. :oIf you actually think humans will still be here, at least as populous as we are right now, in 1000 years, then, maybe, you should start trying to read some scientific reports, books, etc. I give us 150 years before society collapses, of course, they may always be humans, but it wont be the same thing if there's only 10000 humans left.kalossimitarSo, we've survived for thousands of years (going just by recorded civilization), and in the next thousand 99% of us will cease?
[QUOTE="Jandurin"][QUOTE="DrSponge"]Hey now. That's tied in with my ego. Then we'll just have to hurt your manhood :o

Why did we survive for thousands of years? Because nothing big happened in during that time. We weren't there when dinosaurs disappeared, etc. We pretty much had it easy. When species start disappearing exponentially and the whole wildlife, the ecosystems starts getting unbalanced, our lifes will be affected too, etc.

How so? When our planet turns to crap because we pollute it too much and species start disappearing and our ecosystems are thus destroyed, do you think God or science will save us? None will, God wont magically make those extinct species reappear, nor by that time science will let you recreate those species with their frozen DNA .
Never fear, Jandurin is here. I can pwn science, God, and magic with my super special awesomeness. How so? And I guess the brutal medieval ages were much better. ;)
Humans only killed each other, now, we are killing each other and also destroying our home, our planet. What was in the medieval age an isolated killing spree of our bethrens is now a global genocide of our planet.
I think it's already been named the Computer Ageithilgore2006
I believe it is already named the Information Age. Computer were just a tool for information, as is the internet, so the internet age is no good either. It's what the tools did to the world, and like one guy said, globalization (aka a worldwide information network). They didn't call the Industrial Age "The Age of the Assembly Line"... just doesn't make sense.
