Yes, I'd say so. Twice actually. It's the absolute best feeling in the world. It's like when you're an alcoholic and you try to quit. You can never get completely over it. You will always remember how it feels to be in love with that person. That person is like you're high, and being with them is nothing short of pure ecstasy and complete bliss. I know this sounds like I pulled it out of some cheesy love movie, but it's true. You have not experienced life until you've experienced love. When you're with that person EVERYTHING feels like it's gonna be alright...work out for the better.

Love can also bring you crashing down. If it doesn't work out then it can bring heartbreak, and indissoluble damage. Maybe the person doesn't have the same feelings in return? -sighs- You might spends months or years being patient in hopes that the other will someday return the feelings, and that may never happen. Love is a double-edged sword, but well worth the risk. Nothing can compare.

I was in love with my second ex, I loved the first in more of a best friend way. At first I loved Hero in a friend way but it's grown everyday and now I love him to bits, no question about it :)

I'm in love with my wife and a different kind of love for my child. Yes, you'll know it immediately when you are in love.

Your brain isn't involved in love :3 That's why people act stupid when they're in love =3Jaguar_Shade

I disagree. Love has a very clear chemical basis in the brain. You can read more about in Wikipedia. Together these chemicals sometimes override the brain activity that governs logic.

Anyway ignoring the fact that love is really in the brain, I think that true love is felt toward all people and not just obsessing after one woman who wishes that you get lost.

I've been in love once. I can say you just want to be with that person and you can't stop thinking of them. That's my description.

Quoted For Truth. This is one of the best descriptions I've seen. It can give you the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. And yes, I'm in love, although I think she hates and wants nothing to do with me now. It's rather complicated, and I'm not getting into it.

I agree; that description, barring minor spelling and grammatical issues, was brilliant.

Well...it is un-deniably the best thing in the world, no doubt there.

I had two gf's before I found love with my current gf, and I look back, and find it pretty ridiculous that I could even fool myself into staying with other people, I've never been truly happy until I realized how much I feel for this person.

I think true love is pretty simple, its being content and happier just being in the same room as said other, being able to enjoy everything you do together, no matter what. And most of all, not hesitating to make their life easier, even at the expense of your own leisure.

I would do absolutely anything for my gf, no questions asked.

It is the greatest feeling in the world, you cant truly describe it, you just have to experience it.

I would say so, the other two seem like a complete and utter joke when I think back now, lol.

And I've never been this happy....:P
