[QUOTE="Bauers-Twin"] I'm no Green Day fan but Dookie and Kerplunk are pretty great, Insomniacand on is alright the fall of Green Day was when they made that song like "Time of Your Life" or something, it totally wasnt them.

Green Day has some serviceable songs...nothing special but not worth changing the station. Though I can't say that about the other examples.
I poretty much fully agree although i cnat say I'vwe never listened to MCr or Falloutboy, I was into that whole punk/emo/mtv/pop scene maybe like 4 or 5 years back when those bands werejust coming out. MCR is form my home state too so i used to like them, now i listen to better music.
Not the bands you listed ... I can't really think of many bands today that might be considered classic rock in the future ... maybe a band like Arctic Monkeys if they keep up their form.I dunno ...Whight_Knight
ARCTIC MONKS OWN!!
Glad someone has good music taste.
[QUOTE="jachichorro"]I say MUSE will be considered a classic in the future. Who's with me?Whight_Knight
As much as I am indifferent to them , I reckon you may be right , yes.
Well no one in the Us really knows of them. They are popular among alternative stations and internetters, they seem popular on this site. But my dad listens to "Philadelphias Rock Station" and on there the only Muse song i ever heard was Starlight which isnt even in their top 20 probably.
On alt.rock stations i useed to listen to i heard a few of their songs like Time is Running Out, Supermassive Black Hole, Knights of Cydonia. Thats the reason i listen to basically no radio anymore, they just didnt play enough of what i wnated to hear. Luckily I havent been listening to commercial radio for about 2 years, besides in someones car. Internet radio, band myspaces, etc. are much superior.
