[QUOTE="enterawesome"]I think I'm the only one who liked Indy 4...KreughNo, I also liked it and even though it wasn't as good at the first 3, I still think is above average for a movie. I did too but It sucked compared to the other ones.
So people are complaining that the 4th one was ridiculous because it had CGI and Aliens? But ghosts that melt people are completely normal?
Personally, I thought AotC was worse, but I realize I am in the minority in saying that.[QUOTE="JustPlainLucas"]Well, the Kingdom Skull is to Indiana Jones as Phantom Menace is to Star Wars, so with that said, the next one HAS to be better, right?Link256
Nope for me Star Wars Episode 1 >>>>>>>>>>> Episode 2 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Superman 64>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Episode 3
Personally, I thought AotC was worse, but I realize I am in the minority in saying that. I actually agree with you. AotC was the most cringeworthy out of all of them.[QUOTE="JustPlainLucas"]Well, the Kingdom Skull is to Indiana Jones as Phantom Menace is to Star Wars, so with that said, the next one HAS to be better, right?Link256
Dang, I still need to see the new one.

Try not to be put off by all the negative comments you're reading about Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. It's true that the original trilogy had a certain 'magic', but that was then and no addition to the franchise however expertly crafted was going to bring those feelings back. I would certainly recommend you see it. I enjoyed it very much - it had all the ingredients for an action-packed Indy adventure, and I found the much-vilified ending to be perfectly agreeable (can't understand why so many recoiled from this - I mean, this is Indiana Jones, not National Geographic). Harrison Ford looks great for a chap his age, and I was most gratified to hear that the sound effect used when Indy punches someone in the face is, as near as I can figure, the same car-door-slamming sound that was used in the first three films.
