The original demographic for KISS back in the day was preteen boys. They liked the imagery...the music was secondary..and really 12 year old boys are not the best judge of good music.

PS...that is why I stated you'd be a hypocrite. The music you like is the only "good" music and everything else sucks. There are bands I don't like at all...but I can admit they have talent...my dislike of their music notwithstanding. I don't think The Cure are talented because I don't like their style of music.If I don't like what they play then I don't think they're talented because I don't think of it as a good style of music.Just as you don't like KISS.It's all opinions.To me KISS is what rock was mean't to be, extremely energetic songs that the crowds really get into.Sure KISS won't make the Rock HoF, but when garbage like The Beach Boys and The Doors make it who cares.They just wanted to have a good time, not make boring songs hoping to be on a greatest songs countdown put together by 60 year olds.

Then you'd be ignorant of talent and shouldn't make any such statement in regard to talent for ANY band...ever. Not liking a genre of music does not mean every band in that genre is untalented. That just means you are close minded to things you don't personally like.

As for KISS...the band was image...first and foremost...and that says it all. When they got rid of their cartoonish looks they lost popularity and soon went back to the image.

I know this is a differing opinions and everything but its hard for me to find any reedemable qualities in ICP. Also if someone says they are one of the best rap groups ever made, then idk, they probably dont know too much about rap. The rap on MTV I dont even listen to it. Everyone knows it garbage. Thats why people who like rap listen to good rappers like; Lupe Fiasco, Talib Kweli, Common, Immortal Technique, NaS, A tribe called quest, The Roots, The Fugees, The Pharcyde, Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Pharoe Monch, Cunninlynguists, Blackalicious etc.....

Yeah, when I listen to ICP and drink Faygo I feel like a total badass, and obviously I'm being sarcastic since that group blows, and they seem to be selling an image more than they are selling music. Nevermind that I can't even imagine why that image appeals to anyone in the first place.
