Internet pron should be banned ( I'm serious )

I definitely think making porn illegal would be a step in the right direction. Porn turns women into objects for a man's pleasure, rather than treating women as people with a heart and mind. MathMattS

I somewhat agree. If a willing parent does their job correctly as a parent they can monitor what their child does and looks on the internet. And anyone can protect their PC by setting up basic anti-virus programs. But porn is trashy to me. I hate it and don't find appeal. If it were to banned I would be glad. I doubt that will happen though.

If you dont like porn, then dont view it. But dont force your morality on others. Simple as that. I dont understand why so many people want to censor or ban things from everyone else. Do you think you are above everyone that you could control what they see, hear and feel?

Mental effects? So playing a game or watching a video where people get their bodies sliced up or are killed isn't as bad as watching people have sex? People are arguing against porn when all they have to do is turn on their TV and see violence everywhere. Do we seriously live in a culture where violence is acceptable but the simple act of sex is forbidden? I'm not against violence either by the way, I'm just wondering why you'd go after porn on a gaming website that's filled with violent games from top to bottom.

Secondly, the whole feminist approach to it is even more laughable. Who are they to say that sex is "wrong" and dictate what the women in porn should and shouldn't be allowed to do? It's their bodies, their choices and their lives. If they want to have sex on camera with guys/girls for money than that's their choice. You'd have to be insanely insecure to suggest that porn is going to turn men into viewing you as a sex object, and no offense to women but at the core that's what most men want is sex. It doesn't mean they view you only as a sex object or that it's all they want but they're going to be fapping regardless wither it's through imagination or video towards a girl they find attractive and desire. This is natural behaviour by the way.

Telling men that this is wrong and disgusting behavior is just ridiculous because you can't change nature. It's not like women are perfect either and as much as I hate to generealize there's a lot of things I dislike about the average women at least here in North America.

I miss the days when you needed an education to get on the internet.

Considering that illegal pornogaphy is routinely distributed through the internet, it's rather hard to imagine that a prohibition against currently legal pornography wouldn't result in a vast black market. In essence, you'd simply be putting more money in the hands of those people you seem to hold in contempt.

Meh I'm kinda torn on this issue. On the one hand I friken love porn and would definitely not want to see it banned.

On the other hand I do agree that it can have a detrimental effect, especially on young teenagers, and especially when said teenagers grow up in a society where discussing sex naturally in every-day media is a taboo subject.

I think the current trend of popular pornography is too fake and misleading, generations of youngsters growing up with RT teaching them how to have sex will invariably gain a misconstrued idea of the act in general, which could lead to more physical harm of others when they get older and put their misconstrued ideas into practice.

I'm noticing Internet Pron is on the rise (wrong pop ups / ads / advertisments always arising out of nowhere while browsing ) . Its temporary fun ... but harmful in the long run and leads to perversion in any sane man or woman ( Lust over Love ) , specially for kids who surf internet . Damages you PC as pron sites always tend to infect your PC with trojans or harmful malwares . For online pron there is rapid rise of child pron , teen pregnancy / prostitution , AIDS , rape ETC in our society .

Its kinda wrongfully addictive too .
