AlJazeera conducted an investigation with Swiss scientists which revealed Arafat had dangerously high levels of Polonium on his clothes and his personal effects. Polonium was the same poison used to kill former Russian spyAlexander Litvinenko.

The PLO has called for an international inquiry.

Thoughts?

Another senior Palestinian official, Saeb Erekat, said what was most important was to "secure an international investigation committee through the (UN) Security Council or the International Court of Justice to deal with the matter as a whole".

This made me laugh - I love how the "Palestinians" have become so spoiled with the lavish attention poured on them from the UN (which many UN agencies/subsidiaries dedicated exclusively to them whereas no other (fake) nation enjoys the same focus) that they feel entitled to demand the UN investigate every little whim they can entertain. Love it!

You know Yasser Arafat was a homsosexual, right? I remember reading about it in this book, although everyone sort of already knew.

But but but Arafat won the Nobel peace prize. Who would try to kill him? He's done so much to stop the violence.

GazaAli probably knows more about this than I do. Maybe he knows things about Arafat getting AIDS from promiscuous homosexual activity. Arafat also has a gay way" about him which set off a lot of people gaydars.

That wasn't implied, but of course leftists comprehend things they way they want to, regardless of reality. Cheers.

He was a piece of trash terrorist who was revealed to be a homosexual that probably died of aids but was too embarrased to admit it so he took poison to kill himself. I have no sympathy for terrorist supporters.

Explain why he shouldnt? Every one has different opinions on him, but if Mahmoud Abbas suddenly died with traces of polonium on him, a UN inquiry would be regular.

Right, because the UN serves the interests of the "Palestinians". The UN doesn't deal with real nations and real problems. Imagine a UN inquiry into the death of a Canadian official? It's funny (and pathetic) that you want UN money (essentially American, European, Canadian, and Australian funds) to be spent on a propaganda stunt from the "Palestinians" to smear Israel.

There were lots of lie from the "Palestinians" when Arafat was ill, and after he died. This is typical of dictatorships that make a habit of lying. The Soviet Union did the same thing, as did North Korea. When Arafat was ill and dying, there were contradictory messages coming from his office about what illness he had and how he was doing. After his death, the same thing happened. This is what happens in a society without freedom. As far as evidence of his death from AIDS, it's associated with the knowledge of him being a homosexual. Who knows? I don't really care, to be honest.

 you can't be serious. You can say whatever you want about Arafat (not a fan of him by the way) but in no way he was promiscuous. Many officials in the Palestinian Authority are used to indulge themselves in women, alcohol...etc but Arafat was not. Also, to me and almost all Palestinians it was obvious that he was poisoned.

BossPerson supports it because he's a sympathizer with the "Palestinian" cause and hopes that Israel can be smeared with a fake investigation. He's so ridiculous he thinks an autopsy (which supposedly was already done by the "Palestinians") can be done after all these years. Why not exhume him in another ten years and have "Swiss scientists" check his burial shawl? Hahaha!

There's a real possibilty it was one of the palestinian Islamic factions looking to get rid of him to reach power. After his death the fatah suffered a long fall in popularity. I'm not sure an inquiry would really go as planned for them. but idunno

There was no "evidence" of Anderon Cooper's homosexuality, either. People know - his marriage was a sham, he oozed gayness, and there were reports from those close to him. Don't take my word for it, go read about it on the web from sources you trust.

Wasting money is all the UN does, anyways. Remember that Navi Pillay states that Osama Bin Laden's "human rights" were violated when it was reported that he was killed by American special forces. This is the nature of the organization of the UN (which Obama has increased participation and cooperation with).

You're more ignorant than I thought. Arafat made a pass at some Clinton operative named Terry McAuliffe or something, and there were reports from those close to him about gay trysts with his bodyguards. I can't believe you didn't know this.

There is no actual evidence of his homosexuality...and the symptoms of his death are completly inconsistent with AIDS....

There was no "evidence" of Anderon Cooper's homosexuality, either. People know - his marriage was a sham, he oozed gayness, and there were reports from those close to him. Don't take my word for it, go read about it on the web from sources you trust.

um no, it was pretty much universallyknown that Anderson Cooper was gay he never even made any sort of effort to deny it. There is however still no evidence that Yasar Arafat was gay beyond the obvious attempts to discredit him by his enemies. "Oozing gayness" is not evidence of anything you moron.

Not that it matters, his death was completly inconssitent with AIDS anyway.

[QUOTE="GazaAli"]to me and almost all Palestinians it was obvious that he was poisoned. pie-junior

Ok,

but poisoned by who?

Well the average Palestinian will certainly say Israel/USA. I try not to make claims I can't back, but I think it was agreed on by many others, even by some PLO members.

Exhuming him in 2012 for an "international investigation" administered by the benevolent UN?

Doesn't matter. It's not like it'll bring him back....LJS9502_basic

It does actually.

You might as well be pretending like an ivestigation on JFK assasination was unnesessary because he was just shot and killed.. like get a new president and get it over with already and don't waste any effort on who killed him or why he was killed..

Well, "Palestinians" blame everything on America and the Jews, much like most of the Arab/Muslim world. In your minds, we are the boogeymen that control everything for our own nefarious desires.

Arafat was gay end of story. Just because you close your eyes doesn't make the world disappear, you know?

I'm not saying he wasn't gay (there is some evidence in that favour); but you really arent making your case by saying "Arafat was gay and end of story"
